TNS will be hiring an Assistant Technical Director from May – September 2018. This position (35 hours per week) must be filled by a high school or returning post-secondary student in 2018. The successful candidate must hold current TPA certification and have access to a vehicle throughout the duration of the position. Headstart Tennis Summer Employment Opportunity

Headstart Tennis believes in nurturing athletes of all levels and abilities. We have the strongest performance program in Atlantic Canada and a very successful recreational program, which we are hoping to expand even further. We are very proud of our growth over the last two years and due to this growth, we are in need of more coaches for the 2018 outdoor season!

Job Description
We are now looking for a new instructor to coach our outdoor programs starting May 1st 2018. We need a coach who can work 20 hours a week, weather permitting. They will be coaching rec lessons as well as some performance classes. They will also have opportunities to teach private lessons on top of their hours. Pay will be based on experience and coaching level.

Qualifications
We are hoping to find a coach at the Club Pro 1 certificate level for this position, with experience coaching or playing in a high-performance program. Experience working with national or provincial competitors as well as a strong playing ability is definitely an asset. Our coaches must also be members of the Tennis Professional Association.

Tennis Time

Tennis Time is looking for a Tennis Canada certified experienced tennis instructor. Must have their own transportation. 17-30 dollars an hour based on experience, evenings/weekends/weekly and monthly contract work. Applications can be sent to tennistime@eastlink.ca

Chester Tennis Club

Chester Tennis Club is looking for an experienced Head Instructor. They would be responsible for programming, junior lessons, adult lessons and running fun tournaments / informal opportunities to have organized play.

This would be a 40 hour a week job with opportunities for more hours if desired and to teach private lessons. Wage is negotiable.
