When Indian Wells became the first tennis tournament to fall victim to COVID-19 last month, it shocked the tennis world to its core. Wimbledon followed suit on Wednesday, and although it wasn’t surprising after a tumultuous couple of weeks, it’s a tough blow for tennis fans nonetheless.

It’s the first time the Championships won’t be held since World War II – can you believe it?

Canadian players across the country continue to try to adjust to life without tennis. Easier said than done!

If only this were all some big April Fools joke.

How about some good news for a change? Leylah Annie Fernandez was featured in the ITF’s 2020 biggest climbers list. I mean, of course she was.

We also celebrated a Canadian birthday this week. Hope 28 is the best yet, Gaby!

Genie is using all this extra time to switch to a one handed backhand…we can’t wait to see it in action.

More good news: Kristie Ahn keeps making Tik Toks, and we keep loving them!

Speaking of Tik Tok, Vasek Pospisil got himself on the site this week! We can’t wait to see those videos.

A Polansky quarantine story in 3 parts (keep this up, Peter  )!

This is one way to play tennis while in quarantine…

We also got not one but two! golden home tennis routines from Roger Federer this week. These are a must watch.

And maybe the best piece of news of all…Milos Raonic’s new puppy . Cannot wait to see more of Charlie in the future!

We’ll leave you with this phenomenal message from Bianca this week. It seems almost every piece of news we consume right now is negative, and it’s important to try to look for the good in everything. This too shall pass.
