Mixed Team Competition Format:
The 2025 Canada Games tennis event is a mixed team competition, meaning each province/territory sends one combined team made up of both male and female athletes.
- Teams have 4 male and 4 female players.
- Events include men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
- Points from all matches contribute to the overall team score, which determines medal standings.
So instead of awarding medals for individual events, the Games award one set of medals for the overall mixed team result.
